A blissful escape, a contemporary fairytale and a return to true romance...
With her legs raised on a footrest nearby, her dress had slipped up several inches, leaving her lower thighs exposed. As she awoke she noticed her bare legs in front of her and casually reached down to smooth out her skirt. When she did so, she heard a man’s voice coming from the door.
“I was rather hoping you wouldn’t do that…”
Lacy froze. Then she finished smoothing her skirt, tucked her legs under her as gracefully as she could and stood up. Turning to face the man to whom the voice belonged, she saw he was smiling roguishly and felt her face redden. She tried not to smile back, but did not succeed. His face had a boylike charm. They both chuckled and he spoke again, his voice calm and soft, which only made her strain to listen harder.
“I’m sorry if I startled you, but you looked so cozy, I didn’t want to wake you. My name is Francis Doyle, but I would like it very much if you called me Frank.”
Thus begins the interaction between Lacy Stockton, up-and-coming journalist, and Frank Doyle, owner of the award winning bed & breakfast she is sent to New Hampshire to write about. Over the next week, Lacy uncovers mysterious happenings, beautiful surroundings and the hope for a love built to last forever.

A romantic, fun weekend read, perfect for the beach, the backyard and...the whole family!
Every now and then a book comes along that makes a big splash. Although they are often powerfully written erotica, rarely are these books the sort you would like to get caught reading by your family or coworkers. With all due respect to 50 Shades of Grey and other novels of the like, I wanted to write a story that would be a pleasant escape; believable characters driven through a journey full of romance, writing, food, shopping and travel. This is a book you can read to your wife and spark some romance of your own. A fun tale you can share with your daughter or son. I introduce passionate, romantic, chivalrous characters that are a joy to watch interact and often the hidden messengers of important lessons. And to top it off, this story is all wrapped up in a neat package that can be enjoyed over a weekend. There's enough drama and excitement to make it worthwhile for everyone from young adults to those enjoying a wistful daydream in their twilight years. With my sincere blessings, I hope you enjoy reading it as much as I enjoyed writing it. Although the price depends on the format in which you choose to purchase the book, I believe you'll agree that the value greatly outweighs the cost.
